Womens 23's - NSW State Champions

NSW state cup was held at Port Macquuarie over three days.


Wollongong womens 23's team has gone through undefeated to become NSW State Champions.

Results as following, we beat CENTRAL COAST 5-2. NELSONS BAY 7-0. WALLSEND 2-0. HORNSBY 6-0. PENRITH 10-0. and PORT MACQUARIE 10-0 in the round games.
Quarter finals beat MANLY 8-2 Semi Final beat TAMWORTH 8-3

Grand Final defeated NSW UNI BULLETS 4-2 with Becky Mounsey, Bianca Mounsey, Elaina Vallak and Natalie Giles all grabbing touchdowns. The Bullets led 2-1 with about ten minutes to go but we hit back with three great tries to seal the win.

Player of the Final was Nichole Beck. Amy Regal and Mel McCall were also outstanding during the tournament.

This caps off a great year for our team after already taking out the Regional and Country Championship Tournements
